INTRO

Hyakkaou Academy is a private institution attended by students coming from powerful families in the political and financial world. It is a school where students are not evaluated by studies or sports, but through the social status they possess. This is because studies and extracurriculars are not necessary for people who are destined to have power over others. For them it is important to be well versed in tactics, reading an opponent, and the strength to grasp victory which are abilities they have to prove and obtain through gambling.

Gambling system

Where wealth determines your social status, the student council established gambling matches held weekly after school between students consumed by greed. π‘―π’π’˜ π’Žπ’–π’„π’‰ 𝒂𝒓𝒆 π’šπ’π’– π’˜π’Šπ’π’π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒕 ?

RULES :

At the beginning of the game, all participants are given 5 tokens each. A generator will be used to decide the (two) players for each round.

PLAYERS

Once the two players are chosen, they will be required to pool in 3 chips. The 3 chips will serve as their entry fee. Both players are going to have to participate in a 1v1 challenge as per given by the host. Depending on who wins the challenge, the players will either lose or win 3 chips.

Player A vs Player B. Player B wins the challenge, Player A loses.Player B wins 3 chips, making their chips 8 in total. Player A loses 3 chips, making their chips 2 in total.
GAMBLERS

The gamblers, without knowing what the challenge is going to be, are given the freedom to bet any amount of chips on who they think will win. If the player they bet on wins, their bet is doubled. However, if the player they bet on loses, the amount they bet will be deducted from their total.

NOTICE :

In addition to weekly gambling matches, variety of games are hosted spontaneously to help in gain chips to benefit your ranking. Games may be hosted by the student council or by your volunteering peers, so long as every game is reported to π‘Ήπ’Šπ’“π’Šπ’Œπ’‚ who determines the rankings afterwards.

House pets

Those who bargained their chips and fell into negative digits were degraded as β€˜House Pets’. Falling into debt, the student council made the exception of completing β€˜Life Schedules’ to redeem their wealth. These are given out as ludicrous dares - A𝒓𝒆 π’šπ’π’– π’“π’Šπ’”π’Œπ’Šπ’π’ˆ π’Šπ’•?

The β€˜House Pet’ title remains ineffective once completing your set dare distributed by the student council/peers. If failing to comply with dares after 1 day, you receive double punishment with no exceptions. When your title is removed, your chips are reset back to 5. Furthermore, your chip funds reset to 5 every Monday and your ranking for the week remains. Have fun!
